Destop Publishing using Microsoft Publisher 2000 is a very creative course using powerful software. You will learn how to create Greetings Cards using the Wizard editor and about "frames" and "objects". Some of these terms may not mean much now but after completing this course you will know all about rulers and guides, layout guides and text frames. Then you will learn about tables and grouping and ungrouping objects, layers and transparency, picture frames......and the list goes on! Sounds very technical doesn't it? Actually it is a lot of fun to learn Desktop Publishing and you will be able to tackle designing and printing Flyers, Newsletters and all sorts of publishing tasks. Look in your daily newspaper at all the advertising and you are seeing the output of many people working away at Desktop Publishing programs.
